Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Assembler I for the Fort Worth, TX site, on the 2nd shift. The role offers an hourly wage of $18.11–$21.74 plus a 5% shift differential.

You will perform mechanical assembly of low-voltage switchgear, switchboards, and power panels, handle parts, read blueprints, and prepare units for shipping. This position requires basic English, basic tools proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Able to coordinate movements to grasp/move objects; stoop, bend, squat, crawl and climb.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull heavy material as needed.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Process and scan in/out work orders per production schedule or expedited orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, bill of materials, one-line diagrams, etc.
• Assemble fabricated parts into unit assemblies (low voltage switchgear, switchboards, power panels) using hand & power tools.
• Prepare finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling).
• Secure components on frames and verify units meet specifications.
• Disassemble units to adjust/replace parts and label identifying information.
• Perform other work as advised by supervision.
