Job summary

CTDI is seeking an Electronics Technician for 2nd shift in Fort Worth, TX. You will test, diagnose, and repair electronic components, interpret schematics, and support training for fellow technicians.

The role requires a 2-year electronics degree or equivalent experience, and emphasizes autonomy, data entry accuracy, and adherence to ESD and safety standards. Weekly shifts start in the late afternoon and may include a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a proficient electronics technician.
• Pass a Technical Aptitude Test when applicable.
• Thorough knowledge of electronic circuits and theory.

• Soldering and de-soldering skills.

The Tech A conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic components, at an advanced level.

2nd Shift: 2:30PM - 11:00PM, Monday-Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Tests, diagnoses, and repairs electronic components.
• Analyzes issues down to the component level.

• Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques.

• Handling Hard Drive devices and keeping ESD policy standards.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree, equivalent Electronics certification, or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
• The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
• The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
