Job summary

GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC is seeking a Team Lead (2nd Shift) in Ellabell, GA to supervise daily warehouse operations, ensure equipment availability, and uphold safety standards. You will oversee a team of operators, coordinate with the supervisor, and manage performance and training requirements.

The role requires forklift experience, WMS proficiency, and strong communication. Expect a dynamic shift with schedule specifics and potential overtime to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of one year of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in automotive environment.
• Minimum of one year of sit-down forklift experience.
• Must complete in-house forklift certification.
• Previous experience using scanners and WMS would be preferred.
• Must maintain certification per SOPs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Supervisor in managing equipment operators and team members.
• Monitor warehouse operations, procedures, and inventory to ensure adequate supply of materials.
• Monitor and evaluate worker performance to meet targets and safety standards.
• Participate in safety initiatives and conduct team safety training for operators and team members.
• Perform warehousing tasks such as picking parts and moving according to SOPs.
• Operate Forklift and Tuggers as required by business needs.
• Resolve conflicts between team members and facilitate communication between management and staff.
• Read customer orders and shipping documents to determine items to be moved or shipped.
• Scan materials and move them according to standard work instructions.
• Record receiving and shipping movements in SAP.
