Job summary

Join our dynamic startup team as a Safety Specialist for second shift at GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC in Ellabell, GA. This onsite role runs Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break; salary ranges from $59,000 to $62,000 annually.

You'll work with management to implement safety and security policies, conduct inspections, train staff, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. Reports to Safety Manager and located in Savannah area.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of direct safety experience required.
• Field experience in Safety and Warehouse environments.
• Safety issue training experience preferred.
• OSHA 30, AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and maintenance requirements.
• Develop and maintain health and safety management systems, training programs, and procedures.
• Design and update health and safety procedures; provide technical support.
• Investigate accidents and manage insurance documentation; liaise with relevant bodies.
• Deliver safety training programs for all employees.
• Maintain records of safety and security incidents.
• Coordinate with contractors and oversee related tasks.
