Job summary

Siemens – Smart Infrastructure in Pomona, CA is seeking a Switchboard Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift to assemble and wire electromechanical equipment according to blueprints and production schedules. Training on the 1st shift is provided before moving to the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and one-line diagrams.
• Follow production schedules and process work orders.
• Stand for 10–12 hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and modify electromechanical equipment (switchboards, lighting panels) using mechanical tools and blueprints.
• Process work orders with computers or scanning devices per production schedule.
• Scan in/out of work orders to track progress as scheduled.
• Read related documents (blueprints, BOMs, diagrams).
• Fasten components to cubicles, frames, subassemblies, or units.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; uphold equipment readiness.
• Stand for 10–12 hour shifts.
