Caterpillar is hiring a Project Structural Welder B at the Solar Turbines facility in Channelview, TX. You will perform manual and automated welding operations, including FCAW, on carbon and stainless steel in all positions, following standard work and safety procedures.

This role requires the ability to work 2nd shift, handle overtime, and operate material handling equipment as needed. Ideal candidates will have experience in production environments, pass a welder qualification test, and be

Formación

• Must pass the structural welder qualification test (FCAW)
• Minimum 6 months of production experience
• Must be available for 2nd shift and overtime including weekends
• Able to perform manual finish welding and gouging as needed

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate and adjust welding machines to perform welding operations
• Perform manual finish welding on carbon and stainless steel in all positions
• Follow documented procedures to ensure safe, defect-free operations
• Perform carbon arc cutting and gouging as required
• Move and position work pieces using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes
