Candidates should read blueprints, measure precisely, and operate overhead cranes if needed. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2+ years of dual shield welding experience or completed apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Proficient in FCAW welding and dual shield welding.
• Able to read blueprints, drawings and weld symbols.
• Accurate tape measure use and basic math for tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Plan work orders and assemble parts per specs.
• Weld structural steel (C-channels) in various positions.
• Set up, clamp, and tack welds for proper alignment.
• Maintain tools and work area; notify supervisor of issues.
