Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Parts & Plates Foreman to lead second-shift fabrication operations in York, PA. This hands-on leadership role oversees shop employees, production activities, materials, equipment, scheduling, quality and delivery while maintaining a safe, productive environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in structural steel fabrication, prior foreman or supervisory experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Must have previous foreman, supervisor, or leadership experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support shop employees throughout the shift.
• Oversee daily fabrication activities, including personnel, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain and update production and fabrication schedules.
• Coordinate deliveries and help keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor quality control to ensure products meet standards and deadlines.
• Identify ways to improve productivity, employee effectiveness, and fabrication quality.
