Quanex Building Products Corporation is seeking a Strip Mill Operator in Ohio to blend and process compounds through the mill and batch-off within specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• One or more years of manufacturing experience.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Knowledge of general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Blend and process compounds through the mill and batch-off within specifications.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production output to maintain quality control.
• Identify and address issues with product or process.
• Pull rubber stock and feed onto the take-off belt.
• Fill out two-roll safety checklist.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures.
