Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a Stocker for our Columbus, Ohio location. This role involves maintaining inventory, stocking shelves, and handling received merchandise with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• This position requires the ability to concentrate and to communicate with management and co-workers.
• Must be able to read and write small letters and numbers; perform arithmetic calculations; follow written and oral instructions.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory discrepancies with packing orders; checks the shelf before bringing items to packing locations.
• Puts stock away on shelves.
• Consolidates and stores received merchandise within 24 hours of receipt.
• Enters adjustments to bulk inventory on the same day.
• Operates material handling equipment with safety as a priority.
• Verifies part number matches location and stock.
• Ensures the unit packed is correct.

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Stocker for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Job Responsibilities Are

• Maintains the inventory discrepancies with packing orders. Checks the shelf before bringing any items on packing orders to primary location
• Puts stock away on shelves
• Consolidates and puts away received merchandise within 24 hours of receipt
• Enters adjustments to bulk inventory the same day
• Operates material handling equipment with safety as top priority ALL the time
• Verifies that the part number at the location matches the part to be stocked
• Verifies that the part physically matches the parts already stocked at the primary location
• Verifies that the unit packed is correct

Additional Information

This position pays $19 per hour.

The hours are 2:30pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday.
