Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking a Stocker for our Columbus, Ohio location. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, putting stock away, and verifying quantities and part numbers. Forklift experience and ability to lift 60 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• This position requires the ability to concentrate and to communicate with management and co-workers.
• Requires basic reading/writing of small letters and numbers; basic arithmetic; ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and concentrate in a warehouse environment.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory discrepancies with packing orders and checks shelves before packing items.
• Puts stock away on shelves.
• Consolidates and puts away received merchandise within 24 hours of receipt.
• Enters inventory adjustments the same day.
• Operates material handling equipment with safety as top priority.
• Verifies part numbers and that parts match existing stock at primary location.
• Verifies unit packed is correct.
