Job summary

Zohorecruit in Seymour, CT, seeks an SMT Operator I for the 2nd shift to operate and monitor automated SMT equipment in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will set up solder paste printers, load components, inspect boards, track WIP, and coordinate with line leads to maintain efficient line flow. IPC-A-610 knowledge is preferred; HS diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic assembly or SMT operation is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and tear down solder paste screen printers; load stencils and verify paste alignment.
• Load, inspect, and unload PCBs across printers, SPI, pick-and-place, and reflow ovens.
• Track WIP components and manage feeder setup using line-tracking systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and ensure safety, quality, and ESD compliance.
