Job summary

J T in Seymour, CT is seeking a 2nd Shift AOI Operator to inspect PCBAs with Automated Optical Inspection equipment, ensuring high first-pass yield.

You will load inspection programs, review outputs, log defects in the MIS, and collaborate with SMT operators and quality teams to drive quality.

This full-time on-site role requires adherence to ESD, 5S, safety procedures, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 0–3 years in electronics assembly/SMT or optical inspection.
• IPC-A-610 certification required or obtainable on hire.
• Experience with MIS/Shop Floor Tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate AOI equipment to inspect PCBs for defects.
• Load programs and log defects in the MIS system.
• Collaborate with SMT operators and quality teams to resolve issues.
