Job summary

Stanley Electric US in London, Ohio seeks a 2nd Shift Shipping Team Leader. The role trains on 1st shift before rotating to 2nd shift, leading Shipping Associates and coordinating daily operations to meet production needs.

You will coach teams, ensure safety and policy adherence, and manage communications with coordinators and trucking partners in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of Shipping Team Leader experience.
• Solid attendance history.
• Ability to learn technical requirements.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel).
• Forklift certified and able to operate forklift/tugger.
• Strong training/coaching skills.
• Knowledge of Ccore Shipping software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Shipping Associates and oversee daily operations.
• Coordinate staffing and distribute manpower efficiently.
• Fill in on shipping positions as needed.
• Coach/counsel to address performance issues and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety procedures.
• Communicate production, staffing, and customer load needs to the Coordinator.
• Transmit EDI data and answer shipment inquiries.
• Dispatch customer loads and coordinate with trucking companies.
• Prepare shipping and accounting paperwork using EDI transactions.
