ReaderLink Distribution Services in Denton, TX is seeking a warehouse associate for the 2nd shift. The position offers starting pay of $18.50 per hour, with a 4:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. schedule Monday through Thursday and 4:00 p.m.

to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays. Responsibilities include inventorying shipping materials, sorting orders, loading trailers, shrink-wrapping pallets, and labeling shipments. We provide medical, dental, and vision insurance; PTO benefits (3 weeks in year 1, 4 weeks after 2

Qualifications

• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move shipments.
• Label shipping pallets with shipping labels.
• Follow safety rules for personal protection and a safe work environment.
• Perform quality audits on shipping cartons.

Responsibilities

• Receive constructive performance feedback.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Obtain and sort orders by placing them on the respective pallets.
• Load the appropriate trailer with completed orders and ensure orders are on the truck before shipping time.
• Shrink-wrap products to pallets for shipment.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move shipments.
• Label all shipping pallets with shipping labels.
• Follow safety rules for personal protection and the protection of others.
• Perform quality audits on shipping cartons.
• Run and maintain the print-and-apply area.
• Package and tape all shipping cartons.
• Brick-stack all cartons onto the trailers.
• Bill and provide packing slips.
• Ensure accurate weight specifications for each outgoing carton.
