Job summary

ReaderLink is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift in Arkansas. The role involves receiving orders, maintaining shipping materials, and loading trailers with completed orders. You will shrink-wrap pallets, operate an electric pallet jack, label pallets, and ensure accurate weights and packing slips for every shipment.

The position emphasizes safety, a clean work environment, and timely shipping. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with 3 weeks PTO in the first year and benefit options

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Ability to load trailers and ensure orders are on the truck before shipping time.
• Commitment to safety rules and a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive constructive performance feedback.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Obtain and sort orders by placing them on pallets.
• Load the appropriate trailer with completed orders for shipping.
• Shrink-wrap products to pallets to secure shipments.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move shipments to storage or trucks.
• Label shipping pallets with shipping labels.
• Follow safety rules for personal protection and a safe environment.
• Perform quality audits on shipping cartons.
• Run and maintain the print-and-apply area.
• Package and tape all shipping cartons.
• Brick-stack cartons onto trailers.
• Bill and provide packing slips.
• Ensure accurate weight specifications for outgoing cartons.
