Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience operating forklift and overhead crane in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check orders by customer name, order number, size and weight requirement.
• Ensure the correct number of carriers are ready for shipment.
• Check the surface condition of the wire.
• Make sure total load weight is within legal limits.
• Oversee unloading of material and proper location placement.
• Maintain forklift conditions and work area cleanliness.
• Process paperwork to purchasing as required.
