Accurate Personnel in Minooka, IL is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to organize freight, manage vehicle check-ins, and ensure shipments follow established procedures. The role is on-site with a 2nd shift and a starting wage of $22/hour, paid weekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of freight coordination experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in freight coordination, scheduling, or shipping/receiving.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Positive attitude and strong sense of urgency.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Welcome Center log of commercial and private vehicle arrivals and departures.
• Verify inbound and outbound trailer seals for accuracy and security.
• Check drivers and visitors in and out while providing professional customer service.
• Coordinate freight activities and follow all shipping and receiving procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding shipping or facility issues.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to freight processing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Support warehouse operations and complete additional duties as assigned.
