Menasha Corporation is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support the shipment of goods and receive supplies for production and storage. The role involves coordinating carrier pickups, entering purchase order data, and maintaining accurate packing slips and documentation.

You'll work in a production/warehouse setting, require basic math, and familiarity with WMS (SAP). High school diploma or GED and ability to communicate professionally by email and phone are essential.

• Experience in warehouse/shipping environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and enter data accurately.

Responsabilités

• Arrange carrier pickups as specified on customer purchase orders.
• Report defective materials to supervisor.
• Maintain adequate shipping materials stock.
• Keep work area and equipment clean; follow safety regulations.
• Coordinate product completion and shipments on time.
• Maintain professional communication via email and phone.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Work overtime and/or weekends as required by Shipping/Receiving Manager.
• Follow GMPs and maintain quality.

About The Opportunity

Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to the customer base.

• Responsible to make arrangements for pickup by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions


• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor


• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times


• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations


• Responsible for coordination of product completion and shipments and shipments on a timely basis


• Responsible to maintain a professional communication level via email and phone


• Maintain a professional level with the client


• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping/Receiving Manager


• Responsible for following and complying with Company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintaining quality work and product

Education & Experience

High School Diploma/GED and/or one or more years of experience in warehouse production

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math


• Ability to become familiar with and be able to interpret packing slips, enter correct information into the computer, and acknowledge receipt of goods into the purchase order


• Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of WMS (SAP)


• Ability to work with plant management for required results


• Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment


• Ability to work in a team environment


• Microsoft Office, SAP

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting


• Frequent walking and standing required


• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.


• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the season
