Amentum is seeking personnel for a 2nd shift Warehouse/Pack Specialist in Utah. The role involves packing, labeling, inspecting, and preparing materials for storage or shipping in compliance with DLA regulations and military standards.

You may operate MHE and input data into DSS systems, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to obtain MHE licensing within 30 days, potential travel, and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum three months general work experience demonstrating ability to perform duties.
• High school diploma or GED required; education can substitute for experience at some rate.
• Must obtain MHE operator license within 30 days of selection.
• Packers handling HAZMAT materials must complete training requirements.
• Occasional travel and ability to pass security clearance as required.

Aufgaben

• Identifies, examines, classifies, accepts, rejects, and disposes of material per DLA regulations.
• Ensures material is properly preserved/packaged/marked/labeled per Military Standards before release.
• Selects appropriate container size and cushioning to protect materials.
• Performs basic inspection/examination procedures on materials.
• Reads specifications and photos as required by the DLA contract.
• May operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to load/unload materials.
• Receives data from and inputs data to DSS and other automated systems; prepares basic reports.
• Counts, weighs, records data, and applies tags/labels; performs other related duties.
