Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field; 3–5 years of managerial/supervisory experience in shipping and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
• Sponsorship not available; authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software for tracking shipments.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities; handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; analyze data and trends to implement solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors/customers.
• Proficiency in shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train a team of shipping personnel.
• Oversee smooth operations of the shipping department with high productivity.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily shipping activities to meet customer demands.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and customer service to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Oversee packaging, labeling, and loading of products for shipment to meet standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory control teams.
• Develop and implement shipping strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Monitor shipping performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Stay current with shipping trends and best practices; recommend innovative solutions.
