Job summary

Danfoss is hiring a Shipping Coordinator for the Loves Park, IL area. This 2nd-shift role focuses on accurate shipping documentation, packaging, and shipment tracking to ensure on-time delivery and condition.

You will use SAP and coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Second shift hours and ERP experience are valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Shipping or logistics experience required.
• One-year technical/college certificate or related work experience.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with anERP system, SAP preferred.
• Ability to interpret export documentation.
• Strong communication with internal and external partners.
• Multitask in a team environment and handle material-handling duties.
• Detail-oriented in gathering and reviewing shipment data.
• Second shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accurate shipping documentation and enter shipment data into SAP.
• Ensure parts are correctly packaged and staged for domestic and export shipments.
• Pick and assemble items for shipment using pick lists and material-handling equipment.
• Log and track shipments to support timely freight bill processing and payment.
• File freight claims and assist with shipment tracers or other general shipping tasks as needed.
• Receive cross-training from the Material Control team to support overall operations.
