Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Shipping Clerk for the 2nd shift to prepare, package, and process customer orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires attention to detail and familiarity with shipping software, working on site in the United States.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, packing, generating labels, and coordinating outbound shipments while maintaining safety and order in the work area.

• Use computer-based shipping systems to generate shipping labels, documents, and reports.
• Record shipment information, including weights, shipping charges, and space availability.
• Coordinate and organize outgoing shipments to meet shipping deadlines.
• Maintain shipping equipment and keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all established safety procedures and shipping requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will prepare, package, and process customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Use computer-based shipping systems to generate shipping labels, documents, and reports


• Record shipment information, including weights, shipping charges, and space availability


• Coordinate and organize outgoing shipments to meet shipping deadlines


• Maintain shipping equipment and keep the work area clean, safe, and organized


• Follow all established safety procedures and shipping requirements


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your Shift:

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM

You Must Have:

• Attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy


• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand


• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position


• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials


• Frequently required to move inside the facility


• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in order picking, packing, or shipping operations


• Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping software

Pay:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.00/hour. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
