Job summary

Taylor Corporation is hiring an Order Picker for 2nd shift in our Jeffersonville, IN warehouse. You will accurately pick, prepare and process orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience with order picking, packing, and warehouse fulfillment, plus the ability to use scanning equipment and work on a team. This is an on-site, 2nd shift position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition.
• Verify stock availability and replenish locations as needed.
• Repackage orders according to shipping requirements.
• Use scanning equipment and warehouse systems to track orders and inventory.
• Maintain accurate picking and inventory records.
• Operate material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Order Picker to join our 2nd shift warehouse team. In this role, you will accurately pick, prepare, and process customer orders while helping maintain inventory accuracy, quality standards, and an organized warehouse environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders according to order specifications
• Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition
• Verify stock availability and replenish inventory locations as needed
• Repackage orders according to customer and shipping requirements
• Use scanning equipment and warehouse systems to track orders and inventory
• Maintain accurate picking, inventory, and related warehouse records
• Operate material handling equipment safely and according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with additional warehouse and fulfillment tasks as needed

Your Shift:

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM

You Must Have:

• Ability to use a ring scanner, manual equipment, and powered material handling equipment, including order pickers or lifts
• Ability to read, count accurately, and perform basic math
• Attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

2+of experience in order picking, packing, or warehouse fulfillment

Salary:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00/hour. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
