Job summary

Vytex Windows is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate on the 2nd shift in Laurel, MD. You will help keep materials moving through receiving, staging, and shipping processes to meet customer orders on time.

As a Graveyard shift employee, you will operate forklifts, verify quantities, and maintain documentation while supporting multiple teams to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient material flow throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred or ability to become certified.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load, stage, and prepare finished windows and doors for shipment safely and accurately.
• Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming materials and deliveries.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products.
• Verify quantities and maintain accurate documentation for shipments.
• Support installation crews, drivers, and production teams with material requests.

Vytex Windows has been manufacturing premium vinyl windows and doors since 1988. We're looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our 2nd Shift team in Laurel, MD.

In this role, you'll help keep materials moving efficiently throughout our operation, ensuring customer orders are received, staged, and shipped accurately, safely, and on time. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in supporting teammates while delivering excellent results every shift.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM

Mandatory overtime on Fridays as business needs require.

What You'll Do

• Load, stage, and prepare finished windows and doors for shipment safely and accurately.
• Receive, inspect, unload, and properly store incoming materials and deliveries.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment throughout the facility.
• Support installation crews, drivers, production teams, and other departments with timely material requests.
• Verify quantities, inspect materials for damage, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Utilize company systems to locate products, track inventory, and support operational efficiency.
• Help ensure materials are available where and when needed to support production and customer commitments.
• Maintain organized warehouse lanes, storage locations, and work areas.
• Identify problems early and work with supervisors and teammates to resolve them before they impact production or customer deliveries.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by assisting wherever needed to achieve operational goals.
