Job summary

RTX is seeking a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer for 2nd shift (1:30 PM–11:00 PM, Mon-Thu, every other Friday off on a 9/80 schedule) in Andover, MA. The role focuses on uptime, maintenance, and repair of metal evaporation/sputter and lift-off equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, triaging and repairing equipment, and supporting the Emergency Response Team as needed, with familiarity in SEMI 10 standards and SPC concepts preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.
• Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
• Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
