Job summary

RTX is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer for 1st shift (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Mon-Thu, plus every other Friday) on a 9/80. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair metal evaporation/sputter and lift-off equipment in a cleanroom, ensuring uptime of semiconductor processing tools and supporting future expansions.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, plus familiarity with SEMI standards and SPC controls.

Qualifications

• Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant work, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment issues using experience, manuals and system knowledge.
• Triage and repair equipment based on priority and needs.
• Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
