Job summary

RTX is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer for the 5th shift overnight (5pm-5:30am, Fri pm-Mon am + makeup). The role focuses on uptime and maintenance of metal evaporation/sputter systems, lift-off equipment, and hands-on work in a cleanroom.

You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, and support production with a variety of semiconductor processing tools. The ideal candidate has a university degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of relevant work, plus familiarity with SEMI 10

Qualifications

• Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.
• Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
• Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
