Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must obtain MN Specialist boiler license to get Class 2 pay plus the Shift Differential.

Responsibilities

Assuming full responsibility daily of the position being subbed for.
Communicating work allocation directives to custodial staff and Principal/Coordinator.
Performing general housekeeping: dust/mop classrooms, restrooms, floors, windows, walls.
Performing minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and non-potable water system repairs.
Providing support to kitchen staff by mopping floors and stocking storeroom.
Monitoring and adjusting building automation controls.
Securing the facility and arming/disarming the security system.
Reporting vandalism or unauthorized individuals in buildings.
Maintaining building grounds and performing snow removal.
Taking charge of all aspects of the physical operation of the building.
Reporting equipment breakdowns and submitting logs.
