Job summary

Osseo Middle School is seeking a dedicated 2nd shift custodian in Osseo, Minnesota. The role focuses on maintaining and caring for district facilities, equipment, and grounds, including cleaning, minor repairs, and operating building automation controls.

You will secure the building, monitor safety systems, and support kitchen staff as needed. Starting immediately, the position involves coordination with coordinators and principals, reporting issues, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• MN Specialist boiler license required to receive Class 2 pay and the Shift Differential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for district facilities, equipment, and grounds daily.
• Operate and maintain boiler; perform minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and storage; monitor building automation controls.
• Secure facilities, respond to issues, and report vandalism.
• Prepare reports and logs on maintenance activities.
• Communicate work directives to custodial staff.
• Provide excellent customer service to facility users.
• Perform snow removal and seasonal grounds maintenance.
