Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a 2nd Shift Custodian at Brooklyn Middle School. You will perform maintenance, cleaning, and general facility care to support safe, clean learning environments.

Responsibilities include operating building automation, minor repairs, snow removal, and reporting issues to leadership. A High School diploma is required; MN Boiler license is preferred for higher pay; 8-hour shifts year-round.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain MN Specialist boiler license to qualify for higher pay.
• Knowledge of building automation systems and HVAC operation."
• General maintenance and repair knowledge across mechanical areas.

Responsibilities

• Assuming full responsibility daily of the position being subbed for.
• Performing general housekeeping tasks and cleaning per district standards.
• Performing minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and non-potable water system plumbing repairs.
• Maintaining and reporting building conditions and logs.
• Responding to questions and providing excellent customer service to facility users.
• Performing other comparable duties of a like or similar nature.
