Job summary

PTFS, a Maryland-based provider of digitization services, seeks an entry level 2nd Shift Scanner Operator Level I in Rockville, MD. The role is on-site, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday, within the Digitization Division, delivering high-quality scanned images under tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic Windows skills, and a willingness to learn. Prior scanning experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (minimum) or related experience.
• Knowledge of Windows and Windows-based applications; ability to convert paper/materials to digital files.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate scanner equipment and workflow software.
• Perform quality checks on scanned images and correct issues.
• Prepare documents for scanning and reassemble materials to original condition.
• Index metadata as required.
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
