Lyons Salt Company is seeking a Scale Operator / Customer Service Representative for the 2nd shift at our Lyons, KS facility. You will handle customer orders, shipments, invoicing, and provide frontline service to our sales team and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in business preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in office or call center; 3 years in high-volume customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with order entry software and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders accurately and timely.
• Check-in/out trucks, weigh, and print bills of ladings.
• Coordinate with salespersons, customers, and vendors to maintain supply chain.
• Prepare invoices, customer statements, and distribute samples as requested.
• Maintain product knowledge, lead times, and carrier information.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
