Job summary

Skyland Grain LLC is seeking a Seasonal Scale Operator to support customer service at the assigned location. The role is seasonal/temporary and includes operating the scale, weighing trucks, and handling paperwork and inquiries.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, performing office tasks, answering calls, maintaining clean facilities, and upholding safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale to weigh in-bound and out-bound trucks.
• Complete all applicable paperwork accurately and timely.
• Greet employees, members, and visitors courteously.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing sales questions or complaints.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area and comply with safety requirements.
