Job summary

Lantech is hiring a Level 2 Saw Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. The role supports production of stretch wrapping and handling equipment, with a 4‑day work week and potential for overtime and quarterly profitability bonuses.

The candidate will operate a horizontal band saw, perform drilling and tapping, and follow safety and quality procedures to help meet schedules and deliver top-quality components worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measurement to 1/16 inch.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Detail-oriented in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to train and become certified to operate a Raymond forklift.
• Experience operating a band saw and drill press is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a horizontal band saw to cut material to specified lengths.
• Use a drill press to drill and tap holes to designated sizes.
• Follow standardized work instructions to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Stand for 9–10 hours per shift in a production environment.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Work overtime when required to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
