Job summary

Gellert Global Group is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) to lead a team of 3-5 sanitation staff. The role reports to the Production Manager and collaborates with Food Safety and QA teams to uphold sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include directing cleaning of equipment, validating sanitation programs, and preparing routine reports. Applicants should have 3-5 years of sanitation supervision experience and strong leadership, with GMP/HACCP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience managing sanitation staff.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with GMP/HACCP and allergen programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct sanitation staff and oversee sanitation scheduling (2nd shift).
• Inspect facility and equipment for compliance with sanitation laws and plant standards.
• Develop and implement SOPs and training for sanitation team (3-5 staff).
• Prepare and review reports on inspections, violations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with management on sanitation improvements and layout changes.
• Ensure safety programs are followed and participate in audits.
