Job summary

Generous Brands, based in Torrance, CA, seeks a sanitation supervisor to oversee third‑shift sanitation, boost safety, and support production. You will lead sanitation staff, manage MSS schedules, and partner with QA, maintenance, and production to sustain compliance and efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing or sanitation with GMP/SQF/FDA exposure and strong computer skills; reports to the Operations Manager on a full‑time basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in manufacturing, food production, or sanitation.
• Experience leading or training teams.
• Familiarity with Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS) and sanitation documentation systems.
• Exposure to GMP, SQF, or FDA-regulated environments.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift sanitation and production operations, ensuring sanitation meets regulatory and company standards.
• Lead sanitation team members and schedule activities per the MSS.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Maintenance to solve food safety and quality issues.
• Assist with internal and external audits (GMP, SQF, FDA, customer) and provide documentation.
• Maintain product quality through GMPs and safety practices.
