Cobb Hatchery in Wadesboro, NC is hiring for a 2nd Shift Sanitation Class 1. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing chick rooms, monitoring temperatures, and supporting biosecurity, with a starting wage of 17.45 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer.
• No employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• Able to work 2nd shift, Sundays through Fridays, starting at 3:30 PM.
• Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Welfare Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate high pressure and regular water hoses to clean and sanitize the chick room.
• Monitor and record temperatures in the hatchers and setters.
• Follow fogging schedule and pad empty chick boxes.
• Prepare offal and offal room; maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Move, stack, and maintain chick boxes and safety equipment.
