Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for Cobb Chick Processing at the Wadesboro Hatchery in North Carolina. The 1st shift runs about 35 hours per week, starting at 6:00 AM with duties including grading, vaccination, toe trimming, and processing chicks. Pay starts at $17.45 per hour plus differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.

The role requires at least 12 months with one employer, good communication, and availability for in-person interviews. Strong safety and biosecurity guidelines apply on site.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in the past 36 months.
• Must be available for in person interview.

Responsibilities

• Process chicks including grading, vaccinate, weigh, and toe trim.
• Place hatching eggs in labeled buggies and prepare chick boxes.
• Operate macerator and assist with other duties as needed.
