Job summary

Tyson Foods Cobb Hatchery in Wadesboro, NC is hiring for a 2nd Shift Sanitation Class 1 position. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing chick rooms, monitoring hatchery temperatures, fogging, and preparing eggs for packing. A reliable work history and ability to work a 2nd shift are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps over 6 months in past 36 months.
• Must reside in the United States and be available for in-person interview.
• Must be able to pass security screening and biosecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure and regular water hoses to clean and sanitize the chick room.
• Monitor and record temperatures in hatchers and setters.
• Follow fogging schedule and sanitize equipment.
• Wash and pad empty chick boxes and prepare eggs for traying.
• Perform related duties as assigned and maintain a clean, safe work area.
