PRICE INDUSTRIES LIMITED is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator for the 2nd shift in Winder, GA. The role partners with Operations to recognize exposures, apply approved safety requirements, and verify safeguards on the floor in practice.

This developmental position builds sound technical judgment, fosters learning across shifts, and aims to grow future EHS leadership capabilities within the team.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: Relevant occupational safety education, certificate, diploma, degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge and skills: Foundational understanding of occupational safety principles; ability to interpret procedures; clear communication, data analysis, judgment, and computer proficiency.
• Personal capabilities: Approachable, respectful on the floor; curiosity, integrity, willingness to learn, influence without direct authority, and confidence to raise concerns.
• Desired credentials: First aid/CPR and recognized safety certificates/designations are assets; higher risk duties require specialized qualifications before independent performance.
• Professional development: May include incident investigation, risk assessment, training facilitation, regulatory knowledge and leadership responsibilities as growth occurs.

Responsibilities

• Risk recognition and prevention across operations; identify hazards and verify controls.
• Partner with Operations; support safety huddles and hazard reporting across shifts.
• Incident learning and follow through; assist with root cause evaluation and corrective actions.
• Training and competency support; onboarding, instruction, and attendance records management.
• Program and data stewardship; maintain inspections, hazards, permits, and safety procedures.
