Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Safety Coordinator to monitor production floor safety and partner with plant leadership to uphold health, safety, and environmental initiatives. The role emphasizes conducting trainings, maintaining records, and driving continuous safety improvements in a manufacturing setting.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, strong customer focus, and experience in safety within manufacturing. On-site work with a hybrid culture is supported by our safety programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor production floor activity to ensure CHEP safety guidelines are followed.
• Lead safety committee and address safety or environmental concerns with mitigation plans.
• Conduct safety training and walkthroughs for new hires and staff.
• Maintain safety documents and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate with Regional HSE and site leadership on risk mitigation.
• Support continuous improvement of safety systems and manufacturing processes.
