Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Safety Coordinator to promote a proactive safety culture on the production floor. You will work with supervisors and staff, conduct observations, document findings, and ensure timely corrective actions. The role emphasizes on-site presence and active safety leadership in a fast-paced facility.

The position reports to the Senior Safety Supervisor and offers a full-time, onsite schedule with a shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous safety experience required.
• Strong computer skills for safety documentation, reporting and data entry.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to spend at least 80% of time on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Spend a minimum of 80% of working time on the production floor.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits.
• Identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Assist with incident investigations and documentation.
• Support safety training, huddles and employee communication.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with safety policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and employees to address safety concerns.
• Follow up on corrective actions and promote safety culture.
