UFP Industries is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts or assemble finished products per customer specifications. You will secure components and supplies and ensure proper setup for efficient production.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety, quality procedures, and accurate documentation of production activities. A high school diploma is preferred, with early-career manufacturing experience welcomed. Eligible employees receive robust benefits and company perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math.

Responsabilités

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures; may cover, label, and band components finished product.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
• No minimum experience is required however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of basic math
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Hourly/Salary Pay Range

Hourly/Salary Pay Range: $17.00 hourly dependent on experience with a $0.75 per hour shift differential For hourly positions with incentive pay: A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
