Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Roll Mill Operator for 2nd shift at the Ocala plant to set up and run production machines and ensure quality parts through structured procedures. The role involves handling parts, packing, and following safety guidelines in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities include operating control equipment, adjusting machine settings, and potentially training other operators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred, must be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
• 2 years of solid experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Uses computer-controlled equipment to select position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
• Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete more complex tasks.
• May assist with training other machine operators.
• May calculate and assist with numeric controlled programming.
• Typically reports to a supervisor/manager
