Job summary

Custom Building Products in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Machine Operator to run automated systems and robotic equipment on the 2nd shift. The role includes operating Noltec equipment and teaching pendants, with a shift premium of $1.00 per hour and potential for an additional $1.00 after 90 days.

You will support daily production, adjust settings, monitor weights, and drive efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to wear respirator and required PPE.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor robotic systems using teaching pendants safely and efficiently.
Work with automated systems, including Noltec equipment (training provided).
May include batch making duties.
Adjust machine settings, including product size and pallet configurations.
Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
Ensure accurate product weights and neat, organized palletizing.
Monitor production processes to meet daily schedules and performance goals.
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain high quality, accuracy, and productivity.
Support team operations and contribute to continuous improvement goals.
