Custom Building Products in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a skilled Machine Technician to operate and maintain automated production equipment, including robotic systems. The role supports 2nd shift with a $1.00/hour premium and potential $1.00/hour increase after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing and with robotics preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to wear respirator and PPE per OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Familiarity with production workflows and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic systems using teaching pendants safely and efficiently.
• Work with automated systems, including Noltec equipment (training will be provided).
• Adjust machine settings, including product size and pallet configurations.
• Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
• Ensure accurate product weights and maintain neat, organized palletizing.
• Monitor production processes to meet daily schedules and performance goals.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
• Support team operations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts and goals.
