Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment including robotic washline, autoclaves, boilers, and related systems at the Sturtevant facility, with responsibility for custodial upkeep under site leadership.

Position involves startup, regulation, repair, and shutdown of equipment, monitoring controls, and regular maintenance using advanced test equipment to ensure safe operation and performance within limits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with assemblies and production equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting of electrical issues and fault conditions.
• PLC-controlled machines troubleshooting with telephone support.
• Welding or basic repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of equipment.
• Hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs.
• Coordinate with Service and Engineering to arrange spare parts and travel schedules.
• Assemble, align, and install equipment and upgrades while meeting timelines and budgets.
• Interface with cross-functional teams including plant operations and suppliers.
• Coordinate downtime with Plant Managers to complete maintenance activities.
• Provide weekly reports of completed and outstanding tasks.
• Provide remote service assistance to plants to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain Washsmart inventory at Daniels locations with plant management.
