Job summary

Ventrac, located in Orrville, Ohio, is hiring Mig Robotic Welders to operate both robotic and hand welders in a clean production environment. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered for all new production hires, with a 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 1:30am, Monday through Thursday and some overtime on Fridays.

The role starts at $22–$27 per hour, with excellent benefits including immediate PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, parental leave, and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years of welding training/experience.
• Maintain high safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a welding robot and/or perform hand welding to produce accurate weldments/assemblies.
• Read and conform to schematics, drawings and work instructions.
• Set up jobs by selecting fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs and tooling.
