Job summary

The Toro Company’s Ventrac division in Orrville, OH is hiring a 2nd shift Robotic Welder to operate welding robots and perform hand welding to produce precise welds. You will read schematics, set up fixtures and programs, and ensure quality while maintaining safety in a fast-paced production environment.

Starting wage is $22–$27 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new production hires. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, parental leave and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum 1-3 years of welding training/experience.
• Maintain high safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate a welding robot and/or perform hand welding to produce accurate weldments/assemblies.
• Read and conform to schematics, drawings and other work instructions.
• Set up jobs by selecting fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs, tooling, etc.
